tin cans

Hi Readers!  It's December!  Wow, this year went fast. Well I've been making tin can lanterns for family for Christmas. ( and if you happen to be a family member whose reading this, well, oops!)  But they're really cool!

First take tin cans and fill them to the top with water.
Then freeze them.

Then take a nail and a hammer and your can.
You might want to set it on towels so that when
the ice melts it won't get every thing wet.

Then decide what design you're going to
pound into it. Put the nail in the place you
you want it and then pound the nail a little of
the way in. Repeat until the design is done.

Then use hot water to melt the ice.
Put a candle in it, and enjoy!!

  1. We are certainly enjoying our festive candle holder prominently displayed in our family room. Thx Crafter-girl! Love you...and your creative mind. :D
